In Hollywood 1947, a social deduction game, you are a member of the thriving film industry in 1940s Hollywood. Communists are sneaking into your small production studio, attempting to include "un-American" messages, themes, and props in your films. Can you uncover and expose the communists before your studio gets shut down?

Each player has a secret role as a Patriot, Communist, or Rising Star. Each round, players perform a unique task to influence the type of film being made, the cards in players' hands, and who receives special information. Players can choose to skip their task to instead reroll dice and have a chance to add cards to the film.

The player with the most revealed symbols at the end of each round, including those on that round's movie poster, wins. But be careful whom you trust—if you are a Communist or Rising Star, lies can work to your advantage.
