Dune - War for Arrakis

From the creators of War of the Ring comes a new strategic game, but this time we've swapped fantasy for Science Fiction in Dune: War for Arrakis! On Arrakis, a seemingly dead and barren desert planet, lies the most crucial resource in the galaxy: Spice. Without Spice, space travel is impossible, and people become isolated on their respective planets. The house that controls Arrakis and Spice production holds immense power.

The Emperor granted Arrakis to House Atreides, but then plotted to replace them with their old rivals, House Harkonnen. Baron Harkonnen crushed Atreides in a treacherous attack and now rules the planet with an iron fist. However, Paul and Jessica, heirs to House Atreides, are alive and leading a rebellion with the feared Fremen, the mysterious inhabitants of Arrakis's harsh deserts.

In this asymmetric strategy game, players fight for control of the planet by maneuvering troops like Fremen, Fedaykin, and the dreaded Sardaukar while daring to challenge the giant sandworms by sending Spice Harvesters into the desert. The game features an action dice system with numerous event cards, allowing players to retell the Dune saga in different ways each session. Only one house will emerge victorious from the coming battle, while the other will be lost to the desert sands.
