In "Quest For El Dorado: Heroes & Hexes", an expansion for Quest For El Dorado, a new exciting element is added: curses. On the new terrain tiles with demon hexes, players must draw and flip over a curse tile to see how they are affected. Perhaps they have to discard certain types of cards, become paralyzed, or become possessed by a demon, which is shuffled into their deck and hinders them. The demon hexes provide free movement and sometimes hide shortcuts. The expansion requires the use of the "Caves" variant from the base game and adds new cave tiles and expedition cards. Start with a companion/spirit, visit taverns and recruit heroes on your journey!
