Frequently asked questions about party games and board games

What is the difference between board games and party games?

Board games are a type of party game that are usually played with a game board, pieces, cards, or dice. Party games are broader and also include card games, party games, and other games that don't use a game board.

What games can you play together?

It depends on the group's age and what you enjoy. Popular examples include Ticket to Ride, Monopoly, Codenames, Hidden Reality, and classics like UNO. The most important thing is that the game feels fun for everyone around the table.

What is the most fun party game?

That depends entirely on taste – if you like strategy, Catan or Carcassonne might be great. If you're looking for laughs and tempo, a party game might be a better fit. The best party game is simply the one that clicks with your particular group.

What is considered a party game?

A party game is any game that is played together in a group. This can be anything from board games and card games to party games or word games. The goal is to have fun, socialize, and share an experience.
