The cooperative aspect makes Castle Panic a perfect family game and a fantastic start to game night. Together with your friends, you must defend your castle, which is located in the center of the game board, from monsters attacking from the surrounding forest. Exchange cards, defeat monsters, and plan strategies together to keep your castle towers intact. You win or lose together, but only the player with the most victory points is crowned master monster hunter. Castle Panic Second Edition has the same fantastic game mechanics as the original game, but with all new updated illustrations and a special die.
