In this expansion, players collaborate to construct majestic Edifices, too grand to be completed by a single city. At the start of the game, three Edifice cards (one per Age) are placed in the center of the table. Players can choose to participate in the projects to gain advantages, but there is always one symbol less than the number of players! At the end of the Age, if enough players have contributed, the Edifice is completed and participants are rewarded. Those who chose not to participate will suffer a penalty.
