The goal of the game is to be the player with the most victory points (VP) when the game ends. Points are primarily collected by mapping land, water, and sky. Players can also earn points by upgrading their caravans, drawing inspiration from nobles, and by influencing the three guilds of science, trade, and exploration. When players make discoveries, it is important to quickly document their progress. The game ends when a player's marker reaches the outermost column on the journal track.
