Welcome to Dragon's Lair – where games, joy, and community meet!
We are a group of enthusiasts who share a passion for games, and we love to share it with you! Dragon's Lair began as an idea between two friends who wanted to create a place where players of all kinds could meet, play, and have fun. Today, we are proud to have grown into two stores in Stockholm, each with its own unique focus.
Our Stores:
Kungsholmstorg 8 – For collectible card game enthusiasts. Here you'll find daily events and tournaments for Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and other popular card games. With over 100 seats and a wide range of cards and accessories, there's always something for every card game fan.
Sveavägen 118 – A gaming oasis for board game and role-playing game lovers in the city center. Our library of games for rent is ready for you to explore, and our gaming tables are waiting to be filled with exciting adventures. Whether you're looking for the latest board game or a classic role-playing game, we're here to help you find the right one.
Online and in-store – the same great selection:
Whether you visit us in-store or shop online, you have access to our wide range of games and accessories. With fast delivery and personal service, we ensure that your favorite games reach you in a flash.
At Dragon's Lair, we are more than just a store – we are a place where community is at the heart of everything. We are passionate about creating a welcoming environment where both beginners and experienced players can feel at home.
We look forward to welcoming you to our world of games, joy, and community!

We arrange various events managed by dedicated volunteers. These include major tournaments such as Swedish Championships, European and World Championship qualifiers, as well as regular gaming meetups like beginner board game evenings. Feel free to explore our calendar to see what's happening!
We also provide training and actively work to develop gaming culture in Sweden. We gladly participate in fairs and visit youth centers, hospitals, workplaces, and retirement homes. With our passion, we want to inspire more people to find community and joy through gaming.
We who work at Dragon's Lair
Johan
Founder
Founder of Dragon's Lair. Nowadays, he has a little too little time on the shop floor and at the association's game tables, instead handling everything that needs to be done for the business to function. Johan is the joker in the pack and knows a little bit of everything, but for many years now his main focus has been board games.
The ten
Manager
Disen is our foremost Magic expert and has been actively playing since the mid-90s. With his passion for collectible card games, Disen runs the store at Kungsholmstorg. If you have any questions about cards or accessories, Disen probably has the answer.
Umair Naseer
Store Manager Kungsholmen
Umair is involved in the board game nights in Kungsholmen, as well as the card game Altered. Also plays other anime card games.
Amanda
Store Manager Sveavägen
With a teacher's sense of order, Amanda ensures that games and routines in the store are kept in check. With her cheerful disposition and passion for board games, Amanda spreads our motto "Joy of Gaming"
Jens
Purchasing and Communications Manager
Jens is responsible for our social media and marketing. Jens is our living information hub; he tests more new games than most and never misses any news on the board game front. Jens uses this knowledge to ensure that you find the best and latest games on our shelves.
Joakim
Kungsholmen Store
Joakim is our stable man in Kungsholmen. When he's not in a fantasy world role-playing, he plays an important role in the store with his knowledge and interest in card games.
Alice
Kungsholmen Store
You might not see Alice at the till very often, but if you've ordered something from Kungsholmstorg, there's a good chance Alice has had a hand in it. Otherwise, you can meet Alice at the Pokémon events and Disney Lorcana events.
Patrick
Event Manager
Patrik is responsible for our events, both in our own premises and external events. With a recreation leader education and over six years of experience in school activities, Patrik organizes many fun and educational activities such as our popular Pokemon School.
Sofia

With a combination of long experience from Dragon's Lair and her training as a special education teacher, Sofia is an important part of our team. Her keen eye for detail and structured way of working ensures that everything always runs smoothly. Sofia has a broad taste in games, but is particularly drawn to cooperative games and murder mysteries.
Andrea
