The latest expansion in the series includes two maps larger than previous add-on modules. The France map is like a barely started canvas; you have to draw the lines yourself... Every time you draw new train cards, you also have to place a tile with colored lines, but if you're not quick enough to build on it yourself, opponents can do it. This adds an extra tactical dimension to the games. The Old West map allows 6 players (an extra color is included in the box). Each player chooses a "home city" at the beginning of the game, after choosing their tickets, where they must start building their network. Unlike all other maps in the TTR series, you must also build a fully contiguous network as you go, which makes construction considerably more difficult. You can also place additional "cities" during the game, and if someone is forced to build to a city you control, you get the points instead of the one who built the route. There is also a variant included with an alien from Area 51 in Roswell. Perhaps one of the best expansions yet...?
