Three Sisters is a strategic roll-and-write game about backyard gardening. The game is named after an indigenous agricultural technique where three different crops – pumpkins, corn, and beans – are planted together. Corn provides a trellis for the beans, beans add nitrogen to the soil, and pumpkins cover the ground to reduce weeds and deter pests.

In the game, you have a player card with several areas: the garden, the beehive, the compost, perennials, goods, fruit, and the shed with tools that have special abilities. By marking off these tracks as you acquire goods, you earn bonuses along the way. The game lasts for eight rounds, with each round involving rolling dice, choosing actions, and marking off your tracks. The player who collects the most points wins!
