"The King's Dilemma" is an interactive narrative experience with legacy elements, where multiple branching storylines lead to many possible endings and an ever-evolving deck of event cards. Players represent the various houses that govern the Kingdom of Ankist.

Each round, you draw a card from the "Dilemma Deck" and experience the game's story as it unfolds. Each card presents a problem that the Council must resolve on behalf of the King. As members of the King's inner circle, your decisions determine how the story progresses and the fate of the kingdom. Each event occurs only once: you discuss and negotiate with the other players, and finally make a decision that determines the outcome, drives the story forward, and potentially unlocks more events.

You must keep the kingdom running while also seeking advantages for your own house; this power struggle can lead the kingdom to war, famine, or riots, or it can create wealth and prosperity. This depends on your choices! The thing is, every decision has consequences, and what is good for the kingdom as a whole might be bad for your family...
