No one knows for sure what triggered the One-Day War between the superpowers, but a single day was all it took to end the Old World. After governments collapsed, leaderless groups of survivors gathered in the ruins of once-great cities. The climate is brutal, resources are scarce, and mutant tribes roam the wastelands. The world desperately needs a hero who can unite the people and lift them from the ruins.

Resurgence is a competitive Euro-style board game for up to four players. It offers a unique blend of bag-building, hidden worker placement, and resource management that creates an outstanding gaming experience. At the start of the game, each player chooses a hero who leads a small group of survivors with a few supplies. Each round, players must secretly plan where to send their workers to perform various tasks and exert their influence, whether it's completing missions around the ruins of Moscow; gathering fuel, food, and spare parts; rescuing survivors; learning new skills; or building their base.

Resurgence offers different paths to victory, and game events as well as endgame directive cards provide replayability and variation from game to game. At the end of the game, the hero whose faction triumphs becomes the new leader and unites all survivor groups on the safe haven of Hope Island.
