Reforest: Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast
Specifikationer
Specifikationer
Reforest is a card game of medium complexity with elements of light engine-building. Players compete to create the healthiest forest ecosystem by arranging a synergistic tableau of plants, each with its own unique characteristics and abilities.
On your turn, you can choose one of two actions:
Collect. Draw two cards from the deck or from the nursery of face-up plants.
Plant a plant. Add a plant card to your forest tableau in one of its permitted height zones (low, mid, or high altitude). The cost of cards is paid by discarding other plants from your hand as nutrients. Since space is limited, taller plants can be planted over pioneer species at a reduced cost.
Each introduced plant earns you points and contributes to a growing ecosystem of interconnected abilities. At the end of each round (when the plant deck is depleted), an animal visitor card will be earned by the player whose plants best match the visitor's habitat preferences (most flowers/fruits/etc).
The game ends when all visitors have found a home. Each player's forest is judged based on the value of their plants and the visitors they host.
