The guard features an elegant, slightly curved design that protects the hand without being cumbersome. The grip is designed with a leather-like texture, wider near the guard and narrower towards the golden pommel in a "scent stopper" shape, a design popular during the 16th century. The blade is made of closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and features a durable latex coating that gives a realistic impression.
