A new version of Bruno Cathala's acclaimed classic, but this time for two players! Cleverly and cunningly sell the best sets of goods while controlling your opponents' choices. Be careful, though, as your choices can lead to corruption. And corruption has a price...
A huge market has sprung up near the Temple of Sobek. Your merchant guild is ready to use all means to seize the fantastic goods before your opponent.
In Sobek: 2 Players, both players collect and sell goods to earn the most victory points. On their turn, each player chooses from 3 options: take a tile from the market, sell a set of goods, or play a character. When a player takes a tile, they choose one along the Ankh pawn's row and add it to their hand. Then, they place the Ankh pawn on the row corresponding to the tile they just took, which determines which choices become available to their opponent.
Once you have enough tiles in hand, you can sell a set of at least 3 tiles of the same type. These tiles give you victory points at the end of the game, depending on both their quantity and the number of Scarabs they have. You can also use a character to benefit from its powerful special ability. It's all about timing. Planning ahead and analyzing what opportunities you offer your opponent on their next turn is key to making the best choices and winning the game.
