Just like the original Kakerlakenpoker, Kakerlakenpoker Royal is all about bluffing – but with cards showing cockroaches, rats, and stinkbugs instead of queens, tens, and aces. Shuffle the deck and deal the cards to the players. On your turn, take a card from your hand, place it face down on the table, and slide it to any player while declaring an insect, e.g., "Stinkbug." The receiving player can accept the card and say "true" or "false" and then reveal it. If they are wrong, they keep the card; otherwise, the giver places the card in front of them. Alternatively, the recipient can pass the card to the next player. The game ends when a player has four cards of the same kind in front of them or has no more cards to pass. Kakerlakenpoker Royal introduces new rules and "royal" insects for added variety.
