The new map layout will contain holes where the Lost Fleet Ships and some new planet types will be placed.
There will be new minor sector tiles (fringe sectors).
Lost Fleet ships will provide access to new action spaces and technologies on the new board, as well as special federation tokens and artifacts, no standard Q.I.C. actions anymore, Q.I.C. actions only available on ships.

Some faction balancing (starting resources, income, additional actions or different costs for exploring a ship).
