This Campaign 2 insert is designed to be compatible with Near and Far® and the Amber Mines® expansion. The design offers both efficient storage and improved gameplay. Many of the trays can be used during the game, and they facilitate both set-up and put-away. The rulebooks, books, and game boards act as a lid on top of the trays. There are trays for the player pieces, character standees, and leaves. There are two trays for coins, allowing them to be spread around the table for easier access. The coin trays are large enough for the metal coins if you have them. Each player has their own tray for their colour. These are the four resource trays, with separate slots for each token type as well as dice and standees. These are the trays for the small cards. There is space for all cards to be sleeved with quality sleeves, including the cards from the Amber Mines® expansion. The game boards, rulebooks, and storybook fit in a recess on top of the lower trays. The rulebook goes in first, allowing space for the ring binder of the storybook to go next. The storybook is followed by the game board and player boards, and then by the Amber Mines® rulebook and game board overlays. Last goes the game atlas, which fills the top of the box and acts as a lid to all the trays below. There is a gap next to the rulebooks underneath that allows the ring binder to not affect the box lid when it is closed. The game can be stored vertically and transported safely as long as the lid is kept in place. The product consists of a flat-pack of 4 Evacore sheets. The trays require assembly, which is quick and fun using ordinary PVA glue. Detailed instructions are included in the package.
