Concordia: Balearica takes you to the Balearic Islands of MAIORICA (Mallorca), MINORICA (Menorca), EBUSUS (Ibiza), and FRUMENTARIA (Formentera). Each player starts with two ships already at sea, without a capital city to start from. Land colonists are built later in the game and can be moved between islands.

As an additional feature, Concordia: Balearica includes a fish market. The fish market can be combined with the new BALEARICA map, but can also be used with the base game or any other CONCORDIA map. As a new commodity, fish replaces the usual bonus units you typically collect when playing your Prefect. The bonus is doubled to up to 2 fish in provinces that did not produce in the previous round. Sell your fish at a separate fish market where you can get goods, money, or special actions in return. This adds an extra layer of planning and new challenges for the experienced CONCORDIA player.

On the opposite side of this board is the CYPRUS map for anyone who missed it when purchasing Concordia: Venus (Expansion).
