In the Carcassonne: Siege & Defense expansion, the city is under siege and players must strengthen its defenses, but if you contribute too little, everything could be at risk.

Siege symbols on tiles cause attackers to advance, and by placing meeples at defensive positions, you can contribute to the city's resistance and secure points. However, if your efforts are not enough, you may be forced to give up control of a feature.

The expansion includes 18 new landscape tiles with siege elements, 2 fortress tiles, 3 catapults that challenge your cities, roads, and monasteries, and 12 extra standard meeples to strengthen the fight. The base game Carcassonne is required to use this expansion.
