Big Shot (2001) is a strategic bidding game where you bid on valuable properties – without getting into too much debt.
In this family-friendly strategy game for 2–4 players, you compete to win auctions and place cubes on the board's different areas. When an area is filled, it is locked, and the player with the majority takes ownership – but a tie doesn't count, which can lead to unexpected winners! With a playing time of about 30 minutes, Big Shot is perfect as a tactical party game for game night.
Money is limited and every bid requires careful consideration. You can take out loans to continue bidding, but every loan costs more than it's worth in the end. The balance between smart investments, risk-taking, and control of the board determines who stands as the richest when the debts are paid.
