In ANTS, 2–4 players compete to build the most successful colony. You expand your nest, gather resources such as leaves and food, lay eggs, and hatch larvae to recruit different types of specialized ants. Using pheromone trails, you explore the terrain, fight enemies, and defend yourself against rival colonies.

The game offers asymmetric worker abilities, tableau building, and tactical depth where every choice affects the colony's development. Adapt your strategy by developing unique abilities and taking control of important areas – all in the name of the colony!
