Reforest Old Growth

Reforest: Old Growth is an expansion for the nature-themed card-based board game Reforest, while also serving as a storage solution for the series. It can be played on its own, but truly shines when combined with Reforest: Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast for a deeper experience.

This expansion adds new layers of strategy and interaction. Old growth trees introduce a clever twist by revealing previously covered effects and allowing you to regenerate stored plants. It gives the forest a sense of continuity, as earlier decisions come back into play in meaningful ways.

Parasitic plants bring a different kind of tension. They can be played freely, but rely on your existing plants to function, encouraging opportunistic plays and clever timing. Terrain cards further shape your strategy by enhancing how your elevation rows grow, adding variety from game to game.

Compared to the base game, Reforest: Old Growth increases the complexity and is best suited for players already familiar with the system, or those looking for a more layered and strategic card experience.
