When you complete a page, you score your work and keep your technique cards as ongoing abilities. This adds a subtle engine-building layer, allowing your strategy to evolve throughout the game. Meanwhile, the game end gradually approaches as resources are depleted, and the abbot may force players to move on before they feel ready.
