Game Mechanics and Strategies
Each player has a set of five action cards to control their game, and the power of an action is determined by the slot where the card is currently located. The five action cards are:
1. CARDS: Allows you to gain new zoo cards (animal, sponsor, and conservation project cards).
2. BUILD: Enables you to build standard or special enclosures, kiosks, and pavilions.
3. ANIMALS: Allows you to place animals in your zoo.
4. ASSOCIATION: Allows your association workers to perform various tasks.
5. SPONSORS: Allows you to play a sponsor card in your zoo or collect money.
At the heart of Ark Nova are 255 cards depicting animals, specialists, special enclosures, and conservation projects, each with a special ability. Use them to increase your zoo's appeal and scientific reputation and collect conservation points.
