    Raiders of the North Sea is set in the Viking Age, where players become Viking warriors striving to impress the chieftain by raiding unsuspecting settlements. Gather your crew, collect provisions, and head north to pillage gold, iron, and livestock. Glory awaits in battle, even in the hands of the Valkyries. The goal is to have the most victory points by the game's end, earned through raiding, collecting loot, and making offerings to the chieftain. The game ends when only one fortress raid remains, all Valkyries have been removed, or all offerings have been made.
