In Trial by Trolley, one player acts as the trolley driver and must choose where to send a murderous and uncontrollable trolley. Every other player at the table plays cards and argues to convince the driver to spare their lives and condemn everyone on the other track to a gruesome death by trolley. Each round, one player acts as the trolley conductor, who is the judge and chooses which track the trolley will kill. The other players are divided into teams and play cards to influence the judge's decision. The game continues for a predetermined number of rounds based on the number of players at the table. Trial by Trolley is a game for 3-13 players and takes approximately 30-90 minutes to play.
