After having averted a revolution, the von Kraakel family has begun to work towards seizing power in the realm themselves. The noble family has allied itself with the Fifth Column, a rival thief and assassin organization seeking to gain a foothold in Thiefstown and take over the market in the region. The goal, as always, is more power and more money. But in Edwîn von Kraakel's eyes, it is also an excellent opportunity to purge the city's riff-raff. Get rid of the thief gangs in Sagoslottet. Break up the criminal organizations. Eliminate Sika-ri. And ensure that the Fifth Column, under von Kraakel's leadership, is the only active organization in the city...

Thief's Stab Returns is the first standalone adventure in the Adventures in Thiefstown series. The player characters find themselves in the midst of the conflict between the assassin organization Sika-ri and von Kraakel. Can they save the organization from ruin - and more importantly - can they escape the predicament with their lives intact?
