In The Witcher: Old World, you become a witcher – a professional monster slayer – and immerse yourself in the legendary universe of The Witcher series. The game is set years before the saga of Geralt of Rivia, exploring a time when monsters roamed freely across the Continent. Six rival schools trained witchers through brutal training regimes, and these witchers set out to combat dangers and help others for rewards.

In this competitive adventure board game, 2-5 players travel across a vast map, undertaking quests, making moral choices, fighting monsters, and sometimes battling other witchers to defend their school's honor! Players build their own unique decks of attacks, dodges, and magical signs. Quests, battles, and dice rolls provide opportunities to earn money, acquire items, and train skills.

The first player to acquire 4-6 trophies wins. Trophies are earned by killing monsters, winning fights, training attributes, and completing quests. The game also includes a solo mode for a solitary adventure experience on the Continent.
