The Phantom – the Card Game is an adventure game that you can play alone or with a friend. The game is set in the world of the Phantom in the fictional country of Bengali. Players overcome obstacles and defeat enemies with the help of allies, weapons, and Actions.
Each round, players face a new problem that must be solved, but with limited resources, it is important to make the right decisions to overcome short-term obstacles, achieve the long-term goal, and at the same time develop their abilities, items, and allies. Any enemies that are not dealt with will harm you, making recovery a challenge.
The game includes three adventures that can be played with four different difficulty levels:
Story of Devil: Follow in the Phantom's footsteps and experience how he met and bonded with his trusted mountain wolf, Devil. Based on Team Fantomen's 1979 adventure; The Story of Devil, written by Donne Avenell and drawn by Georges Bess.
Diana in the Jungle Patrol: Join the story of how Diana became a respected Jungle Patrol officer. Based on the classic story Diana in the Jungle Patrol from 1973 by Magnus Knutsson and Jaime Vallvé.
Year One: Jump into the story of the 21st Phantom's first adventure after donning the mask and rings. Based on the 2004 story created by Claes Reimerthi and Paul Ryan.
The game contains cardboard, 260 cards, tokens, 2 Legend boards, and a rulebook.
Deluxe Bonus: 10 bonus cards, a Phantom throne (which you build yourself and which holds your cards), and a velvet-like bag for tokens.
