The Mind Soulmates builds on the popular game The Mind, where players collectively try to complete several levels of card play – without speaking to each other. But there's a twist: to complete each level, all players must play their cards face down, and only after all cards have been played are they revealed to see if the order is correct. Additionally, there's an important role: the Seer, who knows a little more than everyone else and can provide valuable clues.
At the beginning of each round, a number of cards are dealt to the players, and the Seer gets to look at some of these cards to help the group. Using clues written on a dry-erase board, the Seer tries to guide the team to play the cards in the correct ascending order – without revealing too much. When all cards are on the table, the Seer flips them over to see if the team succeeded with the order.
If they fail, the group loses a life, and the same cards are dealt again while the Seer provides additional clues. If the team makes it through all twelve levels, they can proudly call themselves soulmates.
This is an engaging game where cooperation and intuition are put to the test in a playful and challenging format. Perfect for game nights with friends and family who enjoy communicating without words!
