In your friend's mysterious disappearance, you discover an unusual object that leads you on a journey through time and memories. In this narrative puzzle adventure, an intimate story of growing up is told through an object that functions as a tarot deck, a puzzle game, and a work of art. You must manipulate cards, find hidden messages, and solve logic and word problems to uncover the deck's secrets.
The tarot deck consists of 78 cards - 56 Minor Arcana and 22 Major Arcana, the latter representing different puzzles. The puzzles are solved using sets of Minor Arcana cards and clues from the storybook, resulting in solutions that lead players to new parts of the story. Some parts of the story provide items that can later be used to unlock extra scenes, and some puzzles have multiple answers, allowing players to unlock more of the story if they find all solutions.
With beautiful illustrations, gripping storytelling, and unique puzzles, The Light in the Mist can be played alone or collaboratively with a small group.
