Hirelings can be added to games regardless of player count. With fewer players, hirelings add new pieces to the map, increasing tension and giving you more tactical options. With more players, some hireling cards will be flipped over to reveal new special abilities to acquire, allowing you to explore unique and powerful strategies.

The hireling box can be used to store your hirelings.
