Railway Boom is an economic board game where you build your own railway empire in Meiji-era Japan.
As a railway magnate, you compete to build the most profitable and strategic train lines between iconic Japanese cities. The game combines resource management, auctions, and route planning in a historical context where you gradually expand your network and strive to become the country's most influential railway company.
With 2 to 4 players, each round presents crucial decisions — invest wisely, bid correctly in auctions, and find the best route to maximize income and bonuses. With beautiful illustrations by Ian O'Toole and a deep yet accessible mechanic, Railway Boom is perfect for players who enjoy strategic board games with an economic theme.
