1962 – The Cold War rages on as a new danger threatens on the horizon: a deadly Soviet bioweapon, "Project MEDUSA". As a medical student, you've been called upon by the CIA for a vital mission. Travel incognito around the world, moving between allied, neutral, and Soviet cities. Eliminate Soviet operators, acquire objectives, and set up CIA bases. The more objectives you complete, the closer you'll get to the truth.

Soviet agents are taking root worldwide; keep them at bay. Coordinate with other covert CIA operatives; they are effective at ensuring Soviet spies disappear. Use CIA teams strategically and keep your eyes on your main objective.

Although designed as a prologue, Pandemic Legacy: Season 0 does not require experience with previous games. Each time you play, new cards, rules, and conditions affect future games. Create aliases to gain assets and execute plans smoothly. The CIA is monitoring your performance. Work with your colleagues to save humanity.
