Upstairs, Downstairs is an expansion to Obsession that introduces four new servants—the Hall Boy, Cook, Head Housemaid, and Useful Man—who help mitigate the challenges presented by Victorian Fate in the base game. This expansion also enables 5- and 6-player games and introduces the Howard family with their legendary Cook.

Upstairs, Downstairs includes new service and improvement tiles along with many new casual and prestige guests. The components in the expansion allow players to vet guests, circumvent prestige restrictions, find tiles, refresh the market more easily, and improve advantages early in the game.

Finally, there are three new game modes: Solo Estate Challenge, Team Cooperative Play, and Tableau Obsession.
