You are one of Earth's foremost monster experts, and you've arrived in a mysterious arcane-punk city centered around the Void, a portal between worlds from which horrors of all kinds can erupt.

Horrified: World of Monsters is a standalone game offering similar gameplay mechanics to 2019's Horrified, and in this cooperative game, you face off against the enigmatic Sphinx, the reclusive Yeti, the ravenous Jiangshi, and the Great Old One himself, Cthulhu. Each monster presents a unique challenge, and you can confront them individually or in combination, with players pooling their unique skills to overcome puzzle-like obstacles inspired by monstrous legends and folklore to collect items, protect citizens, and avoid attacks.

The inclusion of Cthulhu brings the Horrified series its first multi-stage puzzle, with one puzzle in World of Monsters and one in Cthulhu's realm.

Horrified: World of Monsters includes rules for mixing and matching the monsters in this game with those in Horrified: Greek Monsters.
