In Hollywood 1947, a social deduction game, you are a member of the thriving 1940s Hollywood film industry. Communists are sneaking into your production studio and trying to include "un-American" messages, themes, and props in your movies. Can you find and expose the communists before your studio is shut down?

Each player has a secret role as a Patriot, Communist, or Rising Star. Each round, players perform a unique task to influence the type of movie to be made, the cards in players' hands, and who receives special information. Players can choose to skip their task to instead re-roll dice and get a chance to add cards to the movie.

The player with the most revealed symbols at the end of each round, including the symbols on that round's movie poster, wins. But be careful who you trust - if you are a Communist or Rising Star, lies might be to your advantage.
