The Gim Sword – Vanguard is an elegant and balanced blade inspired by the Chinese jian and other classic Asian swords. With its straight profile and clean lines, it conveys both discipline and precision, a weapon equally at home in the stillness of the dojo as on the battlefield.

With a length of 100 cm, the sword is designed for both one- and two-handed use, providing flexibility in movement and technique. The smaller crossguard, compared to many European counterparts, offers greater freedom of movement and makes the weapon particularly suitable for fast, controlled sequences.

The hilt is made of intricately detailed polyurethane and sculpted to resemble dragon or snakeskin with golden accents. The textured surface provides a stable grip and contributes to the sword's distinctive character. The blade is made of closed-cell polyurethane foam and colored to mimic steel, giving a realistic impression while being safe for LARP combat.

As part of the Vanguard series, the Gim Sword requires minimal maintenance, only regular checks for wear. This makes it a practical and durable choice for longer campaigns, displays, or cosplay.
