The Seafarers expansion (6th edition) takes CATAN out onto the open sea. Build ships, explore new islands, and encounter pirates along the way. The expansion includes a total of nine scenarios that provide variety and renewed replayability, with new elements such as ships, gold fields, and wonders that offer more strategic possibilities. It can be combined with both Traders & Barbarians and Cities & Knights, and complemented by the Legend of the Sea Robbers scenario box, which offers four additional adventures.
