This card game recreates a classic spaghetti western showdown, where each player receives a random character card to determine their special abilities and a secret role card to determine their goal. Four different roles are available, each with a unique victory condition:
Sheriff: Eliminate all outlaws and the renegade
Deputy: Protect the Sheriff and kill all outlaws
Outlaw: Kill the Sheriff
Renegade: Be the last one standing
Players' roles are kept secret, except for the Sheriff. Character cards are placed face-up on the table and show both strength (hand limit) and special ability.
In the draw pile there are 22 different types of cards. Most common are the BANG! cards, which allow you to shoot another player if the target is within "range" of your current weapon. The target card can play a "MISSED!" card to avoid the shot. Other cards provide temporary advantages (e.g., different weapons to improve your shooting range) and special effects that either help you or hinder your opponents (like Beer to restore health or Barrels to hide behind during a shootout). A Horse is useful for keeping a distance from rowdy neighbors, while the Winchester can hit targets at range 5. The Gatling is a deadly exception where range doesn't matter – it can only be used once, but targets all other players around the table!
