A pantheon, composed of several civilizations - including those from Greece, Egypt, and the Middle East - is added to 7 Wonders: Duel in the expansion 7 Wonders Duel - Pantheon, where each god has a unique ability that can be used to your advantage or to hinder your opponent.
During Age I, you collect mythology tokens, which determine which gods will later take their place in your shared pantheon. During Ages II and III, you can activate gods and goddesses in your pantheon, instead of taking a card from the pyramid. Pay what is required as an offering to the individual gods or goddesses, and place them next to your city.
With Isis by your side, you can use cards from the discard pile to build one of your wonders for free. Zeus observes everything that happens and allows you to discard any card from the pyramid, along with any offering tokens on the card. The Phoenician goddess Tanit, whose people were known for their trade routes, fills your coffers with 12 gold coins. Enki, the Sumerian god of crafts, supports technological advancements and allows you to choose one of two progress tokens. Minerva gives you the ability to keep the military token away from your territory, helping to avoid a military defeat.
Instead of the guild cards in Age III, this expansion uses three of the five magnificent temples available. Each temple is unique to its culture, and if you have gained access to the powers of the gods for that specific civilization, the temple can be built at no cost. Isis, for example, allows you to build the Egyptian temple, Enki provides access to the Mesopotamian one. Depending on how many temples are built, they can be worth 5, 12, or 21 points in the final tally.
7 Wonders: Duel - Pantheon also includes two new wonders. The Sanctuary, which offers the possibility to reverse the turn order, and The Divine Theater, which provides points and easier access to gods and goddesses.
