Spain, 1936: General Franco and his troops advance through Spanish territories, beginning a long period of civil war and oppression. After the war, a group of loyalists formed resistance groups that became known as the "Maquis." These men and women risked their lives to defend the ideals of democracy and freedom, fighting against the forces of Franco's regime.

In "Resist!", you take on the role of the Spanish Maquis in this fast-paced, card-based solo game. Over several rounds, you will complete increasingly difficult missions and earn points to win. At the start of the game, you assemble a team of twelve Maquis. The tension lies in keeping your Maquis hidden or revealing them to use their full potential, at the risk of losing them for the rest of the game. Manage your deck wisely and balance the decision to defeat immediate threats with taking on the next mission.
