Ligretto is a fast-paced and colorful card game where speed and reaction time are put to the test. Each player has their own deck of cards with numbers 1 to 10 in four different colors, and a unique pattern on the back showing whose cards are whose. The goal? To get rid of your Ligretto pile faster than your opponents – preferably before they've even finished thinking about their next move.
The game is played simultaneously – everyone plays at the same time, making each round intense and exciting. In the center of the table, players collectively build piles in ascending order, color by color. Do you have a one of the right color? Throw it out quickly! Follow up with a two, three, and so on. At the same time, you manage your own cards with a mix of skill and strategy – turn cards from your hand, rearrange your row, and constantly keep an eye on what's happening in the middle.
A fun rule variant adds even more tactics: now you can also place cards from your Ligretto pile or hand directly into your row, as long as the numbers are in descending order and the colors are different. Perfect for those who like quick decisions with smart moves!
Ligretto is just as suitable for family game night as it is for playing with friends – easy to learn, but hard to stop playing. The perfect combination of chaos and control.
