In The Witcher: Old World, you become a witcher - a professional monster slayer - and immerse yourself in the legendary universe of The Witcher series.

Set years before the Geralt of Rivia saga, The Witcher: Old World explores a time when monsters roamed freely across the Continent, creating a constant peril that required the attention of skilled monster slayers, known as witchers. Six rival schools trained their adepts through brutal regimes, and once fully prepared, these now-recognized witchers set out to explore the land, seeking trouble and adventure, and helping others for a reward.

In this competitive adventure board game, 2-5 players travel across a vast map, embarking on masterfully written quests, facing and making ambiguous moral choices, fighting monsters - and sometimes battling other witchers to defend the honor of their school!

The game allows players to construct their own unique decks of cards by choosing from a wide range of abilities: attacks, dodges, and the witchers' combat magic - known as "signs." Through card synergies, players aim to achieve powerful combinations as they fully utilize their witcher school's signature abilities. Quests, battles, and even dice games give each player the opportunity to earn money, acquire new items, and train their skills.

The first player to acquire 4-6 trophies, the number determined at the start of the game, wins immediately. Trophies can be acquired by killing monsters, starting and winning chaotic brawls at the tavern against another witcher, training attributes to their highest level, and completing certain quests during the adventure.

The game also includes a solo mode that allows for a single-player adventure experience on the Continent.
