Traits like a hard shell and horns will protect you from carnivores, while a long neck will allow you to reach food beyond others' reach. But with over 4000 different ways to evolve your animal species, each game will offer a new adventure.

Evolution offers a surprising amount of variation for a game with such simple rules. The variation stems from the synergistic effects that arise between the cards you play in front of you and the different players around the table. Some will be tempted to create carnivores and attack opponents' peaceful animal species, while others prefer to focus on and care for their own animals.
