The Witcher: Old World (SV)

In The Witcher: Old World, you become a witcher - a professional monster hunter - and immerse yourself in the legendary universe of The Witcher series. Set years before the Geralt of Rivia saga, The Witcher: Old World explores a time when monsters roamed freely across the continent, posing constant danger that required the attention of skilled monster slayers, known as witchers. Six rival schools trained their adepts through brutal regimes, and once fully prepared, these recognized witchers set out to explore the land, seek trouble and adventure, and help others for a reward.

In this competitive adventure board game, 2-5 players travel across a vast map, undertake expertly written quests, face and make ambiguous moral choices, battle monsters, and sometimes fight other witchers to defend their school's honor! Players build their own unique decks by choosing from a wide range of abilities: attacks, dodges, and witcher combat magic - known as "signs." Through card synergies, players aim to achieve powerful combinations by fully utilizing their witcher school's signature abilities. Quests, battles, and even dice poker give each player the opportunity to earn money, acquire new items, and train their skills.

The first player to obtain 4-6 trophies, the number determined at the start of the game, wins immediately. Trophies can be earned by killing monsters, starting and winning chaotic tavern brawls against another witcher, training attributes to their highest level, and completing certain quests during the adventure.

The game also includes a solo mode for a solitary adventure experience on the continent.
