Carcassonne: Messengers & Mayors is an expansion that adds new roles and strategic ways to influence the game. In this version, each player receives a mayor who can be placed in cities, even those that already have knights, and challenge rivals for influence.

With messengers, you can advance your standings along roads or towards cities after the road you are on is completed. The scarecrow can be placed in fields to sneak in as a farmer at the right moment.

The expansion includes 12 new landscape tiles, 6 town hall tiles, 6 mayors, 6 messengers, and 6 scarecrows. It combines well with other expansions; the Carcassonne base game is required.
